HOW DO I TRANSFER FILES FROM MY MEMORY CARD TO THE INTERNAL MEMORY?
Power up the frame. When the demo video begins to play, hit the exit button on the remote. Continue to hit exit until you see the main menu with the internal memory, setup and calendar. Insert your memory card. A new icon will appear that is your camera card. Arrow over to it and press enter. Then, arrow over to the file folder on the far right. Press enter to see the files on the card. Arrow down to highlight the file name you want to copy (If you press enter while on the jpeg name, it will display the picture- hit exit to go back to the list). Press the right arrow button on your remote to put a check mark beside the file you want to copy. Then press the OSD button on the remote. Highlight the copy option and press enter. Highlight the C:SD drive. Press the right arrow to select that as your destination folder. Press enter. When it says finished, press enter. To check to see if the files were added to the internal memory, simply exit out to the main menu and select the internal memory. Then, go to file or photo and look for the name of the file or thumbnail of the photo. Let me know if you are still having any problems. We are here Monday-Friday 8-5 CST.
HOW DO I UPDATE THE FIRMWARE OF MY 13.3 INCH FRAME?
There are two files for this upgrade.
upgrade1.img and upgrade2.img
1. copy the two files in your USB flash drive, then insert the USB flash drive into your frame
2. choose USB, press ENTER key, select FILE, then, press ENTER to have file list mode
3. you can see the two files:upgrade1.img and upgrade2.img
4. use the arrow key of the remote control to select the file upgrade1.img, press CONFIRM(enter) key to upgrade, this takes about 10 seconds
5. repeat the above step 2, 3 and 4 to upgrade the file upgrade2.img, which takes about 70 seconds
6. after upgrading the above two files, the machine can resume automatically
7. be sure to upgrade the file upgrade1.img first, then, upgrade2.img
This should upgrade the calendar and the slideshow freeze issue.
HOW TO GET TO THE MAIN MENUON THE ADS 1303 PF?
When you first power the frame up, it goes into the promotional video on the internal memory.
1. Press exit once, it takes you to the video list.
2. Press it again, it takes you to the movie, music, photo and file menu for the internal memory.
3. If you hit exit once more, it takes you to the main menu. This menu lists internal memory (nand), setup, and calendar. If you have an external device inserted, an icon for it will also appear on this screen.
4. Arrow over to the memory card or USB and press enter.
5. Once you select the card, you will see the photo, movie, music and file icons again. Only this time you are looking at the files on the card instead of the internal memory.
6. Then go to the camera icon to go to photos.
7. Press enter. This will show you the multi-view option with 4 pictures at a time.
8. To change to full screen slideshow, press the play/pause button. (This is the one below the green mute button with the sideways triangle and two vertical lines.)
Since the 13 inch does not have a menu button on the remote to take you to the main menu, it can get a little confusing.
HOW DO I TRANSFER PHOTOS FROM MY MEMORY CARD TO THE INTERNAL MEMORY OF THE FRAME?
1. Exit out to the main menu.
2. Arrow over to your card or USB and press enter.
3. Go to the file folder and press enter.
4. If you do not see a list of jpeg files here, continue to press enter. (If using a camera card you will see DCIM- press enter again. Then it shows something like canon 100 or whatever your camera is-press enter again.) Then you will see a list of jpeg files.
5. To select the files you wish to copy, highlight the file. Then press the right arrow key to put a check mark beside the file name. To select multiple files, press the down arrow to go to the next file and press the right arrow key to put a check mark by it... etc.
6. Then press the OSD button on the remote.
7. The options will come up to copy or delete.
8. Highlight copy and press enter.
9. Below copy it will list two drives- your memory card and the internal memory (Be sure to note the letter at the top of the file list on the left. Then be sure to select the other letter drive.)
10. Highlight the drive letter that is not your card and press the right arrow key. This will show a blank white box.
11. Press enter and it will begin to copy the photos to the internal memory.
12. When it says finished, press enter to return to the file list.
