Help/FAQ

HOW DO I PLACE FILES IN A SPECIFIC ORDER?

The only way to specify the order is by using a computer to rename the files. You'll need to place all of the
files in a folder, placing them in the order you would like them to appear. Press CTRL + A. This should
highlight all of the files. Right-click on the first file and choose Rename. This will rename all of your
pictures. After you name the file, but BEFORE you press enter to rename, type Space and then (101).jpg.
This should rename your files to something like this:

beachtrip (101).jpg

Remember the space between the name and the number. All you have to do now is transfer that folder to
the frame and they should play in order. Let us know if you have any other problems.

HOW DO I TRANSFER MY PHOTOS TO THE FRAME FROM A MEMORY DEVICE?

From a memory card or USB drive to frame:

1. Power on your frame and insert your USB drive or memory card.
2. Press the Menu key to go to the main menu. Arrow over to EDIT and press enter.
3. Here you should see several card choices (SD/MMC, USB, CF, etc.). Arrow over to your type of card
and press enter.
4. You will either see your pictures here or you will see a folder (usually labeled DCIM). Press enter if you
see the folder. If you don't see a folder, just the pictures themselves, select which pictures you want to
transfer by pressing the right arrow key over the highlighted picture. That should put an orange paw print
beside the name of the file. You can check as many as you would like by pressing the up and down arrow
keys to highlight other files. Simply press the right arrow key again to place a paw print beside another
picture.
5. Press the left arrow key to go back to the card selection screen. (NOTE: you may have to hit the left
arrow key more than once to get back to that screen. It is the screen where you selected your type of
card.)
6. NAND should automatically be highlighted. Press enter on the NAND icon.
7. Press Enter again when you see C:NAND.
8. Press the OSD key on your remote. Three options should appear. Select the 2nd option which looks
like a briefcase and press enter.
9. A box should appear with a percentage sign and then say Finished. Press Enter and the pictures are
now in the frame.

From PC to frame:

1. Power on your PC and frame. Insert the provided USB cable to the frame first and then to the PC. Give
the PC a few moments to recognize the drive. A box usually will appear asking what you would like to do
with the device. At the top of that box you should see either "PHOTOFRAME" followed by a drive letter or
you will see "REMOVABLE DISK" followed by a drive letter. You may now close that box. Just remember
which drive letter it was in.
2. Open My Computer and locate the correct drive letter. Double-click the correct drive and you should
see any pictures (preloaded or yours) that have been placed in the frame's memory.
3. Here you have several options: You can minimize that My Computer box and locate any pictures you
have on your PC. Single click a picture and then press the right mouse button. A menu should appear.
You can either choose Copy and then reopen My Computer and Paste the file into the new drive, or you
can simply right click on the desired picture and choose "Send to..." and send it to the correct letter
drive. You can do more than one picture at a time if you would like by selecting more than one and then
right-clicking on any of the selected pictures and choosing those options.
4. Make sure you always "Safety Remove Hardware". There should be an icon on the bottom right of your
PC screen along with your other icons that are located there. It looks like a green arrow over a silver box.
Right click on it and then left click on Safety Remove Hardware. A box should appear. Click on STOP and
then OK. Your PC will tell you it is safe to remove your device. Unplug the frame and enjoy your new
slideshow!
