HOW DO I CONNECT THE ALBUM TO MY PC?
1. Fully charge the battery before trying to transfer files to the internal memory of the digital photo album.
2. Turn the unit on. Connect the USB cable to the album and then to the tower of the PC.
3. Scroll the icons around to the computer icon. It will say connect PC in the middle. Press OK.
4. The album should show Note: PC connected in a blue and white rectangle. (If it is going back to the circle of icons, then it is not maintaining connection with the PC*).
5. If a window comes up asking what you would like to do, scroll down to open folder to view files using internet explorer and click ok.
6. If a window does not come up on the PC asking what you would like to do, then go to the start menu on the PC and click on My Computer. Look under devices with removable storage. There should be a removable drive there labeled photoframe or memory (it may just be a drive letter as well.) Double click to open the drive and inside the window you should see a few sample photos we loaded on the album.
7. Then copy and paste or send files to that letter drive on the computer. This is the same for any files you would like to add to the internal memory. It all goes to the same storage device. Be sure that the file formats are all acceptable formats- Jpeg for photos, mpeg for movies and .txt files for ebook or text based files.
If the album is not maintaining a connection with the PC, try the following:
* Try a different USB port and repeat above steps
* Restart the album
* Restart the computer
* Keep "My Computer" up so that you can see the connected drives and if it is connecting
* Try a different USB 2.0 cable
* Try a different computer if you have access to one
* If the charger is connected and plugged into an outlet, unplug the charger (be sure battery is charged prior to connecting to computer)
* If still no connection, download and install firmware update
